When you use the Pepe Mushroom platform, we may collect:

Account information: Username, email address, and encrypted PIN (we never store plaintext PINs)
Gameplay data: Scores, tap counts, game statistics, session duration, and leaderboard rankings
Wallet data: Solana public wallet addresses associated with your account (we never have access to your private keys on external wallets)
Competition & rewards data: Competition entries, leaderboard standings, prize records, and internal arcade-points activity (games are free to play; there are no deposits, withdrawals, or entry fees)
Device information: Browser type, device type, screen resolution, and timezone (for regional leaderboards)
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns

2. How we use your information

To provide and maintain the Platform and its features
To manage your account and authenticate access
To run the arcade, competition entries, rewards, and internal arcade points
To maintain leaderboards and competitive rankings
To notify you about prizes, rewards, and platform updates (with your consent)
To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse
To improve the Platform and develop new features

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Account PINs are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Wallet private keys generated by the platform are encrypted using AES-256-CBC. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data:

Public leaderboards: Your username and game scores are visible on public leaderboards
Blockchain transactions: Solana transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain by nature
Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or legal process
Platform protection: To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your session, store preferences (such as audio settings), and cache game data. This improves performance and user experience. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Game scores and leaderboard data may be retained indefinitely for historical records. Transaction data is retained for compliance purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. International users

The Platform is operated globally. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in jurisdictions where our servers are located, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
